What Information Do We Collect?
When you visit our LEAPS web site you may provide us with two types of information: (1) Personal Information, which means personal information that you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis; and (2) Aggregate Information, which refers to general web site use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our LEAPS web site.
1. Personal Information That You Choose to Provide
If you choose to use our product(s) or services and are licensed to do so by your district, you may need to give personal information such as name, grade, class, school, district, student identification information, number of students, etc. We reserve the right to request any additional personal information necessary to establish and maintain your account. However, we offer our products and services in compliance with FERPA by protecting the student's personal identification information from access or use by any person (including LEAPS personnel) other than you when you enter such information using your unique password. Our LEAPS website allows for encryption of the data and configuration of our operating systems in such a way that only the person using your unique password can access the data. Unless you share your unique password with another person, such student identification information and data will remain confidential.
In addition, for the purpose of providing the general information from us and our partners, if you choose to correspond further with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received by mail and telephone.
We will retain any personal information submitted by you for fulfillment of the intended purposes for which such is collected. We will establish minimum and maximum retention periods based upon the type of information collected (i.e., sensitivity), the intended purposes and as otherwise may be legally required.
2. Aggregate Information Based on Web Site Usage
Aggregate Information is non-personally identifiable or anonymous information about you, such as pages most frequently accessed by you, time spent on a page or area of the LEAPS web site, the number of visits to the LEAPS web site by you, types of browser used by you, cookie preferences or search terms entered by you. Aggregate Information is used in a collective manner, and no single person can be identified by that compiled information (for example, the number of people who logged into the LEAPS web site in a particular day). Aggregate Information does not personally identify a specific user.

From time to time you may notice offers from outside companies advertised on our LEAPS web site. 3. Notice of New Services and Changes
Occasionally, we also may use the personal information that we collect from you in order to notify you about important changes to our LEAPS web site, new services and special offers that we think that you will find valuable. How Do We Secure Information Transmissions?

To update or change or correct your Personal Information, visit our account login page and log on to your own account. You can update your Personal Information after logging in to your account. You also can send your updated Personal Information by mail (or a written request for a hard-copy of your Personal Information in your account) to our Privacy Manager at the contact address listed below.
By providing information using the LEAPS web site, you warrant to us that your Personal Information is reliable for its intended uses, accurate, complete and correct, and that you will promptly notify use if such Personal Information is no longer current or correct.
